Principle Designer MDO Software Development - Aero Engines - Shanghai.
Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai China, have an opening for a Principle Designer for MDO Software Development. The MDO Software will be used to assist in the design optimization of fan blades.
Responsibility:
- To organize the Multidiscipline Design Optimization (MDO) design, test and verification, provide technological guidance, review and sign the related technical documents.
- To organize the review and solve the technical questions during the process of the MDO software architecture, algorithm, test and maintenance.
- To coordinate and manage the external collaboration of the MDO software programming and test, and accept the test results.
- To establish and improve the the MDO software development quality system.
- To establish the schemes and plans for training and assessing the composite blade engineers.
- To assist project manager in making wok plans.
- To estimate supplier`s technical strength.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10+ years’ working experience in the MDO software design, test and verification field. 3+ years’ experience of deputy principal designer or coordinate level. 6+ years’ experience in staff training and team management.
- Major in: MDO/ CAE software engineering or similar majors.
- Solid knowledge of MDO, software engineering, hydromechanics, elastics etc.
- Bachelors, Masters or higher degree is preferred.
- Major Skill Requirement and Level: 5+ years’ experience in MDO software design and test or or similar work experience
- Having the ability of writing technique report, project proposal report and report in review. Good at summarizing the technology and experience.
- Good communication in English, verbal, reading and writing.
Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China for 1 -3 years initially. Good long term prospects.
