Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: North Sheffield

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Sheffield. The role will involve working with a small group of students within KS1 with SEN. There will be both 121 and small group work involved within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:

• Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
• Small Group Support: Providing support for a small group of students with SEN.
• Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to written reports.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above, or equivalent SEN experience.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or SEN setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and the well-being of students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, with the working hours from 8:30 am to 3.30pm.

Location:

The position is based in Sheffield, providing a convenient and accessible location for both residents and commuters.
