We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a team dedicated to ensuring the safety and functionality of our social housing properties. As a Maintenance Electrician working for a local Housing Association, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks in residential properties, contributing to the overall comfort and safety of our tenants.

Responsibilities of the Electrician:

• Conduct electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs in social housing properties.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address multi-disciplinary issues.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide on-call support when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with tenants to understand their concerns and address maintenance issues.

Requirements for the Electrician role:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in social housing or a similar setting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications needed for the Electrician Role:

• Level 3
• Test and Inspection (Preferred)
• 18th Edition
• Valid UK Driving Licence

Location: Central London

Job Type: Temp-Permanent

Hours: 42.5 per week (Monday - Friday)
