Job Description:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of nuclear construction projects. As a Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing the on-site activities, ensuring compliance with stringent safety regulations and technical specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and make a meaningful impact on the future of nuclear energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site, including coordinating subcontractors, overseeing equipment deployment, and monitoring progress against project schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams, resolving engineering challenges and optimising construction methods to enhance project efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough quality control inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and standards, addressing any deviations or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and uncertainties, proactively implementing risk management strategies to minimise potential impacts on project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including construction drawings, reports, and correspondence, to support project tracking, reporting, and compliance efforts.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence on-site, promoting a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation among project team members.
