Gas Engineer

£22 - £23/hour

We require Gas Engineers to start immediately on a large Boiler Installation scheme covering Milnthorpe, Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Ulverston, Barrow and the surrounding areas.

The Client

Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.

The Role

Main duties as a Gas Engineer can vary on a day to day basis which consist of -

  • Installing Boliers to an excellent and safe standard in tenanted and void properties
  • Excellent customer service skills to deal with any issues

The working hours are 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Gas Engineer Installing Boilers
  • Gas Safe Registered - Desirable
  • CCNI - Core Domestic Gas Safety
  • CENWAT - Domestic Central Heating & Hot Water
  • CKR1 - Domestic Gas Cooing Appliances
  • HTR1 - Domestic Fan Assisted Flued Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
  • Own Tools
  • Own Van
  • CSCS/JIB card
  • Asbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online test
  • Must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
