I am pleased to be recruiting for the below role:

IT Finance Project Manager| £500 - 550 per day depending on experience | 6 Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Hybrid - 3 days a week in Leeds

We are delivering a Programme ("Velocity Programme") to transform our Finance operations. This PE backed client has grown in scale and complexity and has ambitious plans for future growth. Supporting this objective will require a finance function with efficient, effective and scalable processes, and with a focus on delivering higher levels of value-added services to the business.

This role will sit over two projects, ERP Implementation (currently in selection phase) and Finance Transformation.

We now require an IT Project to co-ordinate and drive the delivery of appropriate finance applications covering the following major processes:

  • Record to Report (R2R)
  • Opportunity to Cash (O2C)
  • Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Financial Planning (Plan, Budget Forecast) & Analysis (FP&A)

This role is key to the success of the Programme and requires a credible, IT project manager who is comfortable taking a hands-on, multi-faceted role. They will have relevant experience of implementing and integrating a wide range of Finance applications in complex IT landscapes, coupled with sound judgement, commercial acumen and excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Seasoned (>10 years) IT programme / project manager with experience of major IT systems deployment
  • Deep experience of managing ERP implementations, with specific reference to integration and implementation of finance ERP, planning and reporting solutions
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering IT projects and workstreams within finance transformation programmes
  • Team player, able to work with other functional specialists in defining and delivering the technology dimensions of a transformation programme
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to build clear and compelling presentations and able to engage, influence and get buy-in from senior business and finance stakeholders to their work stream plans
  • Relevant IT training and qualifications, with demonstrable knowledge of systems development, deployment and QA methodologies and best practice
  • Training / experience in IT project management techniques, e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.
  • Relevant Programme / Project Management qualifications (e.g. Prince2, MSP).
