The Project

As an experienced Setting Out Engineer, you will play a crucial role on a fast-paced Concrete frame project in South Dublin. You will play a key role in the project,  overseeing the setting out of columns, slabs, cores, QA and line levelling, ensuring the project is delivered to a high standard, and complying with health & safety regulations

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

• CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

• Experience of using Robotic equipment and GPS 
• Experience of setting out on major civil engineering developments, RC frame experience is preferred 

The Role

• Job Title: Setting Out Engineer
• Project: residential Accomodation blocks
• Duration: 18 Months
• Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

• Surveying
• Setting Out
• Problem solving
• Adhere to current H&S regulations
• Create as built surveys and log data
• Attend and contribute in project related meetings
• Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
• Provide progress updates to the senior management team
• Provide technical advice to project team members and clients
• Operate, manage and take full responsibility for all setting out equipment
• Ensuring quality and environmental standards are met and recorded accurately
• Maintain detailed records for the progressive and completed works, for measurements, reconciliation and record purposes
