Contracts Manager

PSR solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for the position of Contracts Manager.
The business have secured a high volume of new projects in addition to current schemes, they operate in a variety of sectors but experience of commercial and residential projects would be advantageous.
You will be responsible for 2-3 schemes depending on complexity and due to the nature of these projects, you must possess a detailed understanding of all elements of building, including frame construction, facades and cladding.
Duties:
- Develop construction phase programme and build strategy
- Lead the team in liaising with client and consultants.
- Review design
- Collaborative working with the commercial department to control costs of projects
- Regular client meetings
- Working with supply chain to work through build-ability issues or supply alternative build methods/materials.
- Establish best value design solutions.
- Production of Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan & Quality Procedure strategy for all elements of construction activity.
- Co-ordinate site set up for enabling and main contract works.
- Ensure projects are delivered in-line with quality, safety and budget
