Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our client’s construction team in a long-term contract capacity. The Multi Trader will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks across different trades, including joinery, plaster patching, minor plumbing, patching brickwork, painting, and some general maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple trades, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship. The Multi Trader will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Perform a range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across various trades, including but not limited to carpentry, basic domestic pipework, plaster patching, minor brickwork, painting, and decorating.

Work across the northeast in domestic and commercial properties from North Tyneside to Teesside

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Install and repair fixtures, fittings, and equipment as needed.

Coordinate with other tradespeople and contractors as necessary to complete projects.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients to understand requirements and provide updates on progress.

Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any maintenance needs.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience within a domestic and commercial construction environment.

Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid UK driving license.

Flexibility to work overtime if required.

Relevant trade certifications or licenses are preferred but not essential.
