Position Title: DVP Engineer
Duration: Contract
Location: Hybrid - Working onsite in Coventry
Technical Leadership
- Liaise with the wider EDS team to ensure that the designs conform to all customer and internal requirements / specifications.
- Support Virtual and Physical Fresh Eyes/ Inch by Inch / Customer Specific in-vehicle validations.
- Support the wider engineering team in creating and progressing design standards, deviations and achieving signoff, escalating when necessary.
- Stay up to date with engineering innovations and engage with the customer.
Project management
- Develop the wire harness Design Verification Plan aligned to project timing using customer or Client tools.
- Support the wider engineering team in DFMEA / SCSS creation and maintenance.
- Create and maintain regular DV Reports and glide paths to report out project status.
- Ensure all test reports and evidences are fully uploaded into customer or Client system.
- Validate and update as required the project DV Plans as cascaded from customer.
- Schedule all Requirement Test Cases in alignment with project timing and project build events.
- Maintain a register of all design standards and customer deviations.
