Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team, focusing primarily on Azure cloud projects and operations. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for collaborative or independent architecture, design, and delivery of cloud projects, with a strong emphasis on automation, infrastructure as code (IAC), and access management principles. You will work closely with internal and third-party teams, providing technical consulting, optimising cloud technologies, and ensuring operational requirements are met. Additionally, you will play a lead role in guiding the cloud hosting team, architecting automated solutions, and designing for containerisation and serverless computing.

Experience and Capabilities:

  • Proven experience in architecture, design, and delivery of key cloud projects and engagements.
  • Expertise in automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of access management and identity integration principles.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Experience with operational requirements, networking principles, security, and compliance.
  • Previous experience as a Windows and/or Linux administrator.

The Person:

  • Must have relevant Visa to work contract in Ireland.
  • Technical proficiency across multiple technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, team-focused environments.
  • Experience leading and guiding engineering teams.
  • Organised, quality-oriented, and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Clear-thinking problem solver with a proactive approach.

  • Demonstrates loyalty, honesty, and business awareness.
  • Positive outlook on life and a sense of humor.

Certifications and Education:

  • Higher-level degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant certifications and training demonstrating experience and skills are desirable.
