£21,000 - £28,050/annum

Milestone Education is seeking Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with children in one of our fantastic, partnered Schools which works to support and educate children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

What will you be doing as an SEMH Teaching Assistant?

  • Supporting the class teacher in meeting the diverse needs of students with SEMH
  • Working with Children and young people to develop key life skills
  • Collaborating with support staff and parents to provide personalised learning
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, feeding back to staff and parents as required

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in education or health care (Level 3 and above)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A desire to support children and young people to achieve and thrive
  • Previous experience working with SEMH or SEND
  • Enhanced DBS check (can be obtained during the interview process)

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday

Salary is based on experience and expertise.
