Our client is thriving in the public sector, our client leads with an adept in-house team proficient in diverse property functions. From civil engineering to project management, they excel across a spectrum of services, including contract management, surveying, asset management, and planning.

They are looking for a engineer specialising in Street Lighting, you will play a pivotal role in proposing solutions, preparing technical studies, and overseeing the street lighting elements of highway and transport developments. You will ensure project completion within agreed budgets, adhere to health and safety standards, and liaise with clients, consultants, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose solutions and prepare technical studies, reports, and designs for street lighting elements.
  • Monitor project costs and prepare contract specifications within agreed budgets.
  • Provide technical input throughout the construction period and assist with supervision of works.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and the public.
  • Consider health and safety, equality's, and sustainability in design solutions and practices.

You will need:

  • RQF level 4 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum of AMILP (Associate Member of Institute of Lighting Professionals).
  • Design and construction experience of Street Lighting for highway or related projects.
  • Experience of using Lighting Reality
  • Experience of using Amtech Pro Design 4
  • G39/1 Code of practice completed and is up to date
  • Full drivers licence
