Are you an experienced RC Frame Site Engineer looking to join a dynamic team leading projects in Leeds & Sheffield?
Our client is a leading RC Frame & Groundworks Contractor, they have secured multiple projects in South & West Yorkshire. Their specialisms include slip form, façade retention, cut & carve, remediation & enabling, infrastructure, basements, superstructures, hard landscaping, and post-tensioning works.
They are currently seeking to hire a Site Engineer on a long-term basis. As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will oversee the technical execution of RC frame and groundworks projects, using your expertise to drive innovation and ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety, Environment, and Sustainability:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of HSES regulations and best practices, effectively communicating them to team members.
- Contribute to achieving project Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability targets.
- Surveying and investigation work
- Reporting to the Site Manager and maintaining liaison with subcontractors.
- Adherence to health and safety compliance throughout the site.
- Ensuring that the quality of works aligns with the clients’ demands.
- QA and site documentation
- General Setting Out encompassing: RC Frame, Drainage, Groundworks, Manholes, Borehole Chambers. Slab, Roads and Curbs, Service Tranches, Retaining Walls, Ground Beams etc
Qualifications required.
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Structural Engineering to HNC level or above.
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- CSCS
- Proven track record in delivering setting out and engineering processes on concrete frame projects.
- Proficiency in surveying and setting out techniques, with mentoring capabilities.
