Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 + 10% Bonus

Location: Hybrid - London two days a week

Type of employment: Full time - 18 months fixed term contract, potential to go permanent

The company has offices across the world, this role is based at the London office. They are experts in multiple sectors of the finance industry specifically in banking.

The events and marketing coordinator role is maternity cover for 18 months and has the potential to turn into a permanent position in the future.

Reporting directly into the marketing manager the events and marketing coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Internal and external event management
  • Scheduling suitable events in the calendar
  • Prepare and maintain an Event Plan for each event to ensure details relating to each event are recorded, updated as the event progresses and shared with all individuals involved in the event.
  • Ensure that events are in line with the company's brand identity and strategy
  • Be present on the day of designated events to ensure that things run smoothly
  • Oversee post-event activities, such as Post Event Reporting, processing of invoices, return of equipment to storage.
  • Supporting the delivery of external communications via e-tools and the CRM system
  • Assist with the collating, writing and delivering of regular internal communications as required

The successful candidate will have event management experience, advantageous if this is in the finance industry. A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail would be required with fantastic organisational skills.

The successful candidate will be determined, able to multitask multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to problem solving and can thrive under pressure.
