The Opportunity:

To start as soon as the right person is available - We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join this fantastic provision. As a teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to work with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, and shape a new and inquisitive approach to learning. Your role will involve delivering engaging lessons, providing individualised support, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

The provision has a structured timetable, highly focussed on gaining Maths and English GCSE's and enrichment and life skills based learning. As there may be some gaps in learning, Primary experienced teachers will be considered.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs (desired but not essential).
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of the students.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • De-escalation training would be beneficial, however training in Team Teach will be provided.
