Temporary - ongoing - Skipton
£26,500 - Monday - Friday

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are on the look out for a Finance Reconciliation Analyst for one of our clients in Skipton who are going through a really busy period. You must be able to hit the ground running in this role!

Duties and Responsibilities include:

* Provide expert knowledge on the daily activities carried out within the team, supporting the more junior roles
* Proactively liaising with key business areas to drive forward control and efficiency improvements, taking responsibility for the end to end design and implementations
* Be the point of contact for the reconciliation team on new initiatives and projects which will have an impact on the control reconciliations and be assertive and raise where control concerns will lie or where efficiency's may be compromised
* Build key stakeholder relationships with the business areas to create open and honest relationships where clear and regular feedback is given regarding controls and efficiency's
* Undertake trend analysis on income aged debt and suspense to identify if tolerance levels are acceptable and / or propose changes and refinements which will provide senior management with a better understanding of the position and key risks
* Responsible for compiling the control reconciliation positions and provide a written summary for senior management that allows management to easily understand if there are any emerging risks.
* Assist the Control Reconciliation and Purchase Ledger Leader in the development and documentation of business processes, policies and procedures relevant to your role and ensure these are up to date, demonstrate a strong understanding of operational risks relevant to Financial Control.

The key purpose of the Finance Reconciliation Analyst is to provide expertise to the junior Finance Reconciliation Analysts to ensure all differences, in particular those that are more complex, are identified in a timely manner in line with the control framework and have a clear understanding of how to rectify. Assist the Control Reconciliation and Purchase Ledger Leader by taking delegated responsibility for leading pieces of the transformation change agenda by working with key stakeholders and FA business areas to see control improvements and efficiencies through.
