Our client is a reputable provider of construction and facilities management services, is currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a construction site. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and safety of our construction environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the construction site, including offices, common areas, and restroom facilities.

2. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove debris and maintain a clean working environment.

3. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials in designated areas, adhering to site recycling and waste management policies.

4. Clean and sanitise restroom facilities, ensuring they are hygienic and well-maintained for construction workers.

5. Assist with the removal of construction debris and materials, keeping walkways and access points clear of obstructions.

6. Support the maintenance of site cabins and welfare facilities, including dusting, wiping surfaces, and replenishing supplies.

7. Follow health and safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely handling cleaning chemicals.

8. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

9. Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning duties to the relevant personnel.

10. Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies and client expectations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.

• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings, as required.

• CSCS Card preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

• Physical fitness for performing manual labour tasks associated with cleaning duties.
