Pay Range/details: £30,000 - £31,000

Contract Type: Fixed term contract

Our client is looking for an experienced installer to work nationwide installing our range of internal and external commercial furniture. Flexibility with daily working hours is critical, as the role is 50 hours per week with variable daily start and finish times required to meet the needs of the business

Key Responsibilities – Driver/Installer

You will be responsible for collecting furniture from Gloucester then delivering, installing and correctly positioning it at clients’ premises. All jobs will have to be signed off by the client who we will ask to rate the installation.

• Loading / Securing and checking goods onto vehicle ready for daily deliveries.
• Daily vehicle safety checks to maintain a safe and reliable vehicle.
• Delivering goods to customers following the route planned by the transport office.
• Deliveries and Installs to be made in a timely manner with excellent service levels provided.
• Handling of delivery paperwork, obtaining signatures for deliveries and reconciling and returning to the transport office.
• Any incidents/issues reported promptly to CS/Transport office.
• Maintaining the highest standards when out on the road remembering you are representing the company.

Qualifications & Requirements – Driver/Installer

• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) - B class minimum.
• Experienced and capable of driving large vans / 3.5t Vehicles with good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Have great attention to detail
• Experience with dealing with customers
• Able to resolve issues on site (misaligned bolts/screws etc)
• Dedicated and possessing a drive to get the job done
