LTF Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join a secondary school located in DE55. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, providing cover for absent teachers and overseeing between 25-30 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task
• Manage behaviour according to school policies, fostering a positive classroom environment
• Support the learning and development of students, providing support to students who may require additional help
• Support the learning and general wellbeing of students, adapting learning to meet individual needs
• Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity in the learning process

Person Specification:

• A relevant qualification/degree is desirable
• Prior experience within a educational setting or working with young people in a similar capacity
• A commitment to supporting students, promoting their wellbeing and outcomes
• Experience of supporting students with special educational needs is desirable
