Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in the development of vehicle harnesses, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team, for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have passion for future vehicle development?

If so, Expleo have an opportunity for you! One of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, is currently recruiting for an Electrical Harness Engineer, to help them develop unique and innovative automotive products. Based in Bedfordshire, you will be working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Engineers on a rolling contract basis.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Harness Engineer include:

* Development of vehicle harnesses and other electrical components
* Generate and develop Cost reduction ideas for Low Voltage & High Voltage Harnesses
* Validation of components
* Support Production trials
* Manage suppliers to deliver products to Quality, Cost and Timing

Qualifications and skills required for the Electrical Harness Engineer position:

* Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or relevant industry experience
* Experience of automotive electrical and electronic system development
* Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices
* Harness layout and application experience
* Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
* Excellent communication skills
