Freelance Site Based Project Manager - Office refurbishment/Fit out - Central Manchester - £10m

Start date - 2 weeks, Long term freelance opportunity and the option of potential permanent

Company
My client is a very established and successful fit out and refurbishment contractor with multiple blue-chip clients. They have built a solid reputation in the industry by producing projects to a very high standard mainly across the commercial fit out sectors.

Job role 
They require a Senior Site Manager/Site based PM to oversee a large commercial fit out worth roughly £10m. This will also involve some external works to the roof as well. You will maintain effective communication with all parties involved and report into the Project Director as well as having internal supervisors reporting to you. This is an opportunity for a long term freelance contract. 

Requirements/Experience Needed
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment (Commercial offices preferred)
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certificates required.
- Worked on projects with a value up to £5m plus
- Must be able to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Must be confident in conducting site, client and progress meetings
- Be able to manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget
- Motivate Sub-contractors and trades on site
- Produce regular and clear progress reports
- Proficient in Editing and creating programs if required would be a desirable but not essential.
