£35 - £40/hour

CMC are looking to speak with Manufacturing Engineers for an initial 6 month assignment in Cwmbran. The role requires engineers to be on site 5 days a week and falls inside of IR35.

Job Summary:

* The main function of this role is to ensure efficient manufacturing process solutions are set up and maintained within our Final Assembly Area. This includes new products, upcoming production changes and existing product ranges.

Job Responsibilities:

* Ensure all manufacturing deliverables are completed and production setup is complete for new products.

* Calculate all metrics to be tracked and improved, through robust action planning.

* Continually review current manufacturing processes to eliminate further waste.

* Work with NPI Project Lead to deliver product releases both on time and efficiently.

* Drive projects to completion through thorough ramp up plan and robust action planning within Final Assembly area.

Technical Knowledge:

* Experience with Lean and assembly processes.

* Willingness to drive high 5S standards across a variety of areas.

* Investigate waste elimination and put actions in place to eradicate.

* Experience with Automation is desired.
