Job Title: PE Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking passionate individuals to join us as PE Teaching Assistants in vibrant schools across Bromley. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of physical education and inspire young minds to lead healthy and active lives.

Responsibilities as a PE Teaching Assistant:

• Assist PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive physical education lessons.
• Support students during practical activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance or encouragement.
• Help set up equipment and facilities for PE lessons and sports events.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to organize extracurricular sports clubs and events.

Requirements for PE Teaching Assistants:

• Passion for physical education and promoting an active lifestyle among students.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students' physical development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Basic knowledge of sports and fitness principles.
• Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or physical education are desirable but not essential.
