An exciting opportunity has arisen for a people-focused Talent Manager to join our client's growing and well-established business in a busy and vibrant role.

You will be working as part of their global recruitment team and will get the chance to build strong partnerships with HR and Hiring Leaders to ensure a successful hiring process. The position would offer you a 20 - 30 hour working week of which 2 days would be spent at the office-based South of Cambridge.  This would be an ongoing contract for up to 6 months offering you the chance to make a real difference.

As the Talent Manager, you will be:

• Consulting with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role and source, identify and engage talent through various channels such as workday, professional networks and other channels.
• Managing the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates in engineering, IT, operations, quality, research, and more!
• Staying up to date on industry trends and have suggestions and recommendations on how to remain competitive in their local market to make sure that they attract the best talent.
• Conducting thorough candidate assessments including resume reviews and phone screens.
• Coordinating interview schedules, hiring events, and candidate debriefs. 
• Foster high-touch relationships with qualified candidates and manage the candidate experience throughout the entire lifecycle. 
• Proactively partner with the HR team to implement innovative recruitment strategies to positively impact the candidate experience and build pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements.

As the Talent Manager you will have:

• Experience with full life cycle recruitment in an in-house corporate environment and/or agency.
• Experience recruiting technical & niche skillsets including but not limited to engineers, manufacturing, operations and more. 
• Experience with robust sourcing techniques, Boolean search string and sourcing tools  
• Experience with scheduling and conducting different types of interviews.
• Experience implementing innovative talent attraction strategies that improve hiring success metrics.
