Position Overview:
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management within the heavy steels or related industries, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Negotiation:
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and project teams, to optimize contract terms and conditions.

Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks.
- Provide guidance on risk allocation and propose solutions to protect the company's interests.

Contract Compliance:
- Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.

Change Order Management:
- Handle change orders and variations to contracts, assessing their impact on project timelines and costs.
- Negotiate changes with clients and suppliers as needed.

Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication between internal teams and external parties involved in contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably in the heavy steels or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
