Our client is looking for Junior Planner, this role is to Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information and data for planning purposes, Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues to senior planners..  1-3 years experience required and construction or Civil engineering experience would be proffered. Job location is in Norway. 

Key Roles & Responsibility

  • Assist senior planners in developing project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information and data for planning purposes.
  • Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues to senior planners.
  • Analyze project data and recommend adjustments to project plans and schedules as needed.
  • Attend project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with budgeting and resource allocation for projects
  • Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Experiences, Skills and Behavioural Competencies : 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of production planning and inventory control
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs

The successful candidate will be based to Sotra Link project  (in Norway) A 9.4 km long four-lane road to be built in Vestland county. The Sotrasambandet bridge and tunnel system comprises 19 car and pedestrian underpasses, 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts, new four-lane motorways and 14 km of pavements and cycle paths. About 24 km of two-lane access roads will also be built. It is expected to open on June 1, 2027.
