Introduction:
Our client, a leading company in the Rail Communications sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Comms Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important project in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out non-intrusive surveys.
- Installation of communication equipment (CCTV, PAVA, Access control etc.)
- Being compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations throughout all activities.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role with significant experience working on SISS systems.
- A valid PTS certification
- Understanding of Birmingham New Street station (preferable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
