Inside IR35 (via FCSA Accredited Umbrella)
Part Time Hybrid (3 days per week, 2 on site when panel are in, 1 day on site when not)

Reporting into the Service Manager for Fostering and the key focus of this role will be to chair interviews for foster families, ensure they are compliant with regulations and quality assure all paperwork.

About your duties as the Fostering Panel Advisor, Children’s Social Care: 
  • Day to day management and organisation of the Fostering Panel
  • To provide professional advice to the Agency Fostering Panel, and to the Agency Decision Maker
  • Chairing interview for fostering families and ensuring they are fully compliant with the up to date regulations
  • Quality Assuring all of the paperwork for compliance purposes
 
Your experience needed as the Fostering Panel Advisor, Children’s Social Care: 
  • Post graduate professional qualification relevant either to management or to the professional service specialism (Social Work); or equivalent level of significant experience demonstrating applied application of the above levels of knowledge in a relevant setting.
  • Authoritative, applied knowledge of the specialist or professional discipline including technical theories and related principles
  • Experience ensuring panels are compliant and working alongside foster families
  • A proven track record of experience working as a Fostering Panel Advisor
  • You will need an enhanced DBS and registration with Social Work England is required for this role
