We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a National Contractor in Leeds, West Yorkshire to play a key role in refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contractual matters, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months starting ASAP

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs
2. Monitor project progress and expenditure, providing regular reports to stakeholders
3. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
5. Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for the project
6. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs
7. Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
2. Commercial focused experience
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Experience and knowledge of construction contracts and step downs to the supply chain.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
7. Fully IT Literate in MS Office
