We are currently recruiting a Senior HR Advisor for a health care provider in Harrogate, awarded HSJ top 100 places to work in Yorkshire. This role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract, with a view to potentially go permanent for the right candidate.
This role is fully office based for initial training and then hybrid working can be offered - working 1-2 days from home.

The main purpose of this role is to provide strategic guidance to the business and deal with complex Employee Relations issues. We are looking for a confident CIPD qualified professional, or working towards completion to work in this friendly HR team. You will work in a busy office providing Managers with HR guidance and advice.

Senior HR Advisor Responsibilities:
·Advising management on various on terms and conditions of employment and application of policies and procedures
·To lead on complex ER cases and investigations
·To support on various issues including attendance management, bullying, harassment, grievance, disciplinary and performance
·Provide coaching and support to managers
·Interpretation of employment legislation and change management
·To Support HR Business Partners with the delivery of equality and diversity, health and well being, policy development and workforce information
·Assist in designing and delivering HR training on HR practice, policy and procedures

Senior HR Advisor Requirements:
·CIPD level 5 or working towards completion
·Experience working in a HR advisory role
·Be able to work autonomously and be pro active
·Previous experience working with complex ER cases
·Driving licence and own transport as some driving may be required to visit clients
·Sound knowledge of employment legislation
·Excellent IT skills

You will require a basic DBS certificate for this Senior HR Advisor position due to safeguarding and the environment you will be working in, however this can be processed upon successful application.

This role would suit someone who has worked in a HR environment, is confident speaking to managers and providing support and guidance on HR matters and has worked as a HR Generalist, Employee Relations Manager or similar.
