The Role

• Responsible for diagnosing the cause of general property disrepair in relation to condensation damp and mould in properties and specifying suitable remediation through a single or multi-stage approach
• Survey repairs that have been requested by customers and carry out post inspections whilst delivering a first-class customer response service
• Produce detailed reports concerning findings including options for remedial solutions with cost estimates and proposals regarding safe methods of works
• Liaise and work with customers to support them with disrepair cases, offering remedial advice and support
• Carry out property inspections, identifying building faults and arrange for repairs to be carried out by contractors
• You will also be able to virtually carry out inspections for cases, offering customers advice and support
• Attend meetings and contribute to performance reports

Job Requirements

• Driver with access to own vehicle
• Knowledge and experience in repairs surveying, specifically damp and mould cases - At least 3 years experience
• HNC in building construction or equivalent and qualification (desirable)
• Experience working in a social housing environment
• HND / HNC level in Building Surveying or equivalent construction related qualification (desirable)
