About the Role:

GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint enthusiastic PE Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client secondary schools in Sheffield. As a PE teacher, you'll have the chance unleash the potential of the students through engaging physical education programs, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

PE Teacher Role:

  • Conduct engaging and inclusive Physical Education (PE) sessions for students at various key stages.
  • Develop and execute a varied curriculum aimed at enhancing physical literacy and advocating healthy lifestyles.
  • Cultivate a welcoming and supportive atmosphere conducive to participation and success.
  • Coordinate extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to facilitate cross-curricular connections and broaden enrichment prospects.
  • Offer constructive guidance and assistance to students, aiding them in achieving their maximum capabilities.
  • Participate in extracurricular sporting activities and events

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Physical Education or relevant field
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
