GSL Education are actively seeking a qualified, passionate and innovative Design and Technology Teacher for immediate placement at Client Schools in Sheffield. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to inspire students and ignite their passion for creativity and problem-solving.

Design and Technology Teacher Role:

• Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach
• To maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching of mainly Design and Technology as a subject
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values, ethos and vision
• Setting and marking of regular homework

About the Candidate:

• Be a qualified Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
• Passion for design, creativity, and technological innovation.
• Must have previous experience as a Design and Technology Teacher in a  School
• Understanding of teaching, learning and assessment strategies
• Will collaborate within the Design and Technology team to contribute to the department's success
• Have an understanding of the curriculum and factors contributing to the learning experience of pupils
