Data Management Consultant (3-month Fixed Term Contract)

Role Overview:

As a Data Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data collection, validation, and visualization processes for our client engagements. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading consultants and make a tangible impact on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement survey spreadsheets, including skills matrices, to gather relevant data from client teams.

- Establish the target structure within the data lake on Google Cloud Platform and develop data pipelines for seamless data consolidation.

- Collaborate with Moorhouse and client stakeholders to define the process for gathering Excel surveys from managers while ensuring data privacy and security.

- Collate and validate information from completed skill surveys (up to 2500) into the data lake, identifying and addressing any data quality issues.

- Support the tracking of survey completions, including issuing, receiving, and monitoring completion rates.

- Create Excel-based outputs and visualizations for the final target spreadsheet, highlighting team skills, missing data, and other relevant insights. Implement appropriate protection measures to safeguard data integrity.

- Participate in stakeholder discussions for progress reviews of the data management initiatives.

Essential Skills:

- Proficiency in survey design and spreadsheet management, with experience in creating skills matrices and other data collection tools.

- Strong understanding of data lake architecture and experience in setting up data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

- Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Experience in creating Excel-based outputs and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for data protection.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
