This is where you can make a difference. Moxie People are supporting a leading domestic violence charity in their search for a dedicated vulnerable families support worker, specifically supporting families who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of domestic violence survivors, including referrals from the Flying Start and Families First services, who have identified clients experiencing / at risk of experiencing domestic abuse. You will offer tailored support to women and their children around tenancy management, benefits applications, childcare arrangements, attending court, job-seeking and processing the trauma they have been through in safe and healthy ways.

Location: Cardiff
Role Title: DV Support Worker
Contract Type: fixed term contract - ending in April 2025
Hours/Shift Pattern: 9-5, Mon-Fri. You will also be enrolled onto the 1st tier on-call rota, providing telephone/ in-person support one week every month
Salary: £22,353
Transport: Access to a vehicle is essential
Other: You must have an enhanced DBS for the children and adult workforce on the update service / be prepared to fund a new one.
