We are currently seeking a talented EC&I Engineer to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects in the electrical, control, and instrumentation domain. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from concept design to implementation, across multiple industries.

Role Overview: As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of various engineering deliverables, including block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, instrument loops and hook-ups, termination drawings, control system sequence drawings, general arrangements, panel designs, instrument datasheets, and the 61508 suite of drawings. You will play a key role in electrical power distribution design, control system design, and instrument design activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, and other engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.
  • Develop instrument loops and hook-ups, termination drawings, and control system sequence drawings.
  • Design general arrangements and panel layouts to meet project specifications.
  • Prepare instrument datasheets and the 61508 suite of drawings, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate specifications and contribute to electrical power distribution design, control system design, and instrument design activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate EC&I designs into overall project plans and objectives.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BEng) in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in EC&I engineering, with a strong background in electrical power distribution design, control system design, and instrument design.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce a variety of engineering deliverables, including block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, instrument loops and hook-ups, termination drawings, control system sequence drawings, general arrangements, panel designs, and instrument datasheets.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements, particularly the 61508 suite of drawings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
