Handyman - Maintenance Work

Are you a skilled handyman with experience in maintenance work? Do you thrive on fixing and repairing things? The UK's largest Students Accommodation is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team in Wembley. This is a temporary position for the next 3-6 months, with a competitive hourly rate of £17.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting general maintenance and repairs in our student accommodation facilities
• Identifying and resolving maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
• Repairing or replacing damaged equipment, furniture, and fixtures
• Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Assisting with the setup and maintenance of common areas
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a similar role
• Proficient in basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Basic tool kit for performing maintenance tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
