Plumber/Pipefitter

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Bedfordshire. They are looking for experienced Plumber/Pipefitters to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team, working on a permanent basis
Our client our working at a range of commercial and retail properties. A van is required, however, mileage will be paid.
MAIN DUTIES
- Installation of mechanical plumbing and heating components.
- Schools, Universities, NHS, plant rooms, and some domestic work (not much).
- To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.
- Keep the customer up to date with progress and plans.
- Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and /or Supervisor.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 4 with ½ hour break, some Saturdays available for overtime especially through the summer holidays
Pay: £35'000 - £37'000 Per annum - Permanant position.
Vehicle required (mileage is paid @ 45p per mile.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- CSCS card
- NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing (desired but not essential)
- Full current driving licence + van.
