The Role: As a Full-Time Outdoor/Forest Teacher at our wonderful preparatory school, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and experiential learning opportunities that inspire and empower students. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering outdoor learning sessions, forest school activities, and adventurous experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Integrating outdoor education into the curriculum across all age groups, from Reception to Year 8, to enhance learning and personal development.
  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, challenge themselves, and develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and thematic units that incorporate outdoor learning principles.
  • Evaluating the impact of outdoor education initiatives and providing feedback to inform future planning and development.

Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
