Job Description:
- Teaching Religious Education: Deliver engaging and insightful Religious Education lessons, encouraging students to explore faith, morality, and philosophy.
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs and foster critical thinking skills.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track academic development.
- Pastoral Support: Offer pastoral care and guidance to students, promoting inclusivity, empathy, and understanding.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Religious Education curriculum, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with a relevant degree in Religious Studies or related fields.
- Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level, with a passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for learning.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols within an educational setting.
- Enhanced DBS: Successful applicants must undergo all necessary background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
