Responsibilities:

  • Dive into the heart of the action, reporting directly to the senior estimator and managing your workload with precision.
  • Craft bespoke estimates for both internal and external drylining solutions, delivering accuracy and innovation every step of the way.
  • Take charge of compiling and distributing tender packages, ensuring subcontractor work is handled with finesse.
  • Dive deep into tender analyses, conducting negotiations and analyses of subcontractor work packages that drive success.
  • Be the architect of efficiency, generating, distributing, and maintaining subcontract orders and variations to keep projects on track.
  • Spearhead budgeting brilliance, developing comprehensive pre-start and site start budgets that set the stage for success.
  • Navigate the financial landscape with finesse, processing subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts like a seasoned pro.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of project costs, completing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and cost reporting that charts the course for profitability.
  • Implement cost reporting strategies that maintain budget control and drive success.
  • Be the guardian of accuracy, overseeing the estimation process for construction projects with an eagle eye for detail.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with project managers and stakeholders, gathering essential information for estimates that exceed expectations.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents with a keen eye, unraveling complexities and uncovering hidden opportunities.
  • Create detailed cost estimates that encompass labor, materials, and equipment costs, painting a vivid picture of success.
  • Monitor project costs throughout construction, identifying areas for cost control and leading the charge towards efficiency and profitability.
