We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with your expertise and enthusiasm.

Contract: Part-time position

Salary: Final salary based on experience.

As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant with EYFS teaching experience, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing invaluable support to the EYFS team in delivering high-quality early years education to children aged 3 to 5 years old.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners.
  • Supporting individual children with their learning and development, including those with additional needs, through one-to-one or small group interventions.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and discover.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs and abilities.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring suitability to work with children and young people.
  • Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably in early years or EYFS.
  • A relevant teaching or education qualification
