Position: Carpenter
Location: Islington
Salary: Equivalent to £43k 
Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours
 

Responsibilities for the Carpenter role:

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties, including carpentry work such as door and window repairs, installing cabinets, and repairing flooring.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Conducting inspections and identifying areas requiring maintenance or repair.
• Collaborating with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed.

Requirements for the Carpenter role:

• Proven experience as a maintenance carpenter.
• Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's licence.

Qualifications for the Carpenter role:

• NVQ Certification or training in carpentry or related field.
• Experience working in social housing or similar environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to maintenance work.
