We're seeking a highly motivated and passionate Business Continuity Manager to join our prestigious London legal entities.

As a key member of our BCM team, reporting to the esteemed London BC Manager and with reporting lines to the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our operations and driving our business forward.

Job Description

In this role, you'll take charge of BCM planning using Fusion Software to create robust and innovative strategies

Fuelling the continuous growth and maturity of our BCM program, you'll provide valuable insights and drive the evolution of its contents.

You'll be the driving force behind testing our Business Continuity programs, ensuring effectiveness and identifying process improvements to enhance resilience.

With your strong familiarity of regional BC regulation requirements, you'll stay up to date with industry standards and seamlessly integrate them into our operations.

Spearheading the review and update of our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across multiple regions, you'll assess recovery requirements and business impacts during disruptions. Additionally, you'll enrich our Business Continuity Plans, incorporating changes to business operations and recovery requirements, always ensuring our platforms are fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of BCM planning, utilising Fusion Software to develop robust and innovative strategies that ensure business continuity and resilience
  • Drive the continuous growth and maturity of the BCM program by providing valuable insights, evolving its contents, and staying at the forefront of industry best practices
  • Lead the testing of Business Continuity programs, evaluating their effectiveness, and identifying process improvements to enhance resilience and readiness for potential disruptions
  • Stay up to date with regional BC regulation requirements and incorporate them seamlessly into our operations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards
  • Initiate and oversee the review and update of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across multiple regions, assessing recovery requirements and business impacts to maintain optimal response capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate changes to business operations and recovery requirements, ensuring Business Continuity Plans accurately reflect the evolving needs of the organisation
  • Champion a culture of preparedness and awareness by providing training, guidance, and support to employees, fostering a resilient mindset and proactive approach to business continuity

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Business Continuity Management, with a track record of successfully implementing BCM strategies and programs in complex organisations
  • Strong knowledge of BCM planning methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with a focus on leveraging technology solutions such as Fusion Software
  • In-depth understanding of regional BC regulation requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Proficiency in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and developing recovery requirements to assess and mitigate potential business disruptions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate testing exercises for Business Continuity Plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively in dynamic environments, effectively mitigating risks and enhancing resilience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, executives, and external partners to drive alignment and promote a culture of business continuity
