Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Wimbledon – Leading Residential Main Contractor
We require a Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a leading main contractor who specialise in the residential sector.
They are currently going through a period of rapid growth and have secured a project in Wimbledon on which they require a Quantity Surveyor.
The project consists 93 apartments over 2 blocks with a basement valued at £46 million. It is being undertaken on a Design & Build contract for a large housing association.
My client requires a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to be site based and initially undertake all procurement moving on to package management and cost reporting. Reporting to a Commercial Manager, you will have full support where required.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will have previously worked for a main contractor, ideally on residential projects, although this is not essential. You will be commercially savvy and driven with attention to detail.
My client can offer at least 6 months work due to work load and the position could become permanent for the right candidate.
