Job Description:

Manaba is seeking a Yr 6 Teacher for a minimum of 1 term supply cover or fixed term contract. Full time and paid to scale for providing additional learning for Yr 6 pupils who are lagging behind. PPA time included.

Part time job shares will be considered, and ECTs are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Yr 6 planning and assessment will be required

• The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

• Keeping safeguarding at the forefront of your mind, ensuring any concerns are reported.

• To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the schools.

• Taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety at work, and to report any Health and Safety concerns.

• Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure

• References will be required

• A passion for primary school education and maintaining standards

• To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

• Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

• Have the ability to engage all students
