Independent Reviewing Officer- up to £56/hr on going contract

NonStop Care is currently working with a well established authority in West Yorkshire, who are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their service in their safeguarding and Reviewing Team .

The authority works collaboratively with children and families ensuring the best outcomes for children and a rewarding work environment for you! You will have the comfort of joining an authority with experienced staff/ management working alongside you.

• Long standing Management team, all of whom are perm and have been in the LA for at least 3 years
• Competitive hourly rate from £50/hr
• Home working flexibility-The team is in the process of introducing New Ways of Working to allow for more flexibility in working away from an office base.
• On-going, stable contract - 6 months or longer

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a related field.
• Experience of all service user groups and with users from ethnic minorities.
• Experience of residential and family placement services
• Experience of child protection worK
• Kniwledge and experience of the systems for children in care and be professionally confident and competent in challenging standards of care and practice
• Registration with Social Work England
• Excellent report writing skills/assessment skills
• Significant IRO experience
• Enhanced DBS
• Professional references
