Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – Epsom - £75,000

A nationally known M&E contractor are looking for a senior m&e quantity surveyor to join their team working across . If you believe you are at or are ready for the responsibilities of a senior quantity surveyor then read on.

Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

The initial project is a £10m hospital project delivering the new diagnostics wing in Frimley Park Hospital.

You will ideally have been working as a quantity surveyor for the last 10 years, specifically on projects up to £10m in various sectors.

You’ll have finished your quantity surveying degree and be skilled at budgeting, reporting, developing BOQ’s and profit plans.

You will also be comfortable working at a senior level administering contract obligations (and any additional client requirements) and undertaking / managing commercial meetings with the client and internal project team.

You will also need to have experience negotiating on your own, on the spot, as necessary with the client and sub contractors.

The Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of Quantity surveying 
• QS Degree Qualified
• Proficient in excel.
• Detailed knowledge of commercial management and QS Role within construction
• Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
• Overall understanding of the business, client and Sub Contractor relations, and installations
• Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Record Keeping and Administration Skills
• Process driven and focused on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes

Salary and Package
