Mechanical Field Engineer

EFAB Industrial Solutions are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Field Engineer from a Mechanical / Piping background for a major project based in Alloa.
This essential role will play an important part in the continued success of the project, reporting directly to the senior management team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Scope Management
- Quality Tracking
- Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs
- Analyse data from tests
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment
- Design and develop test plans for new and existing products
- Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
- Develop and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
- Provide technical advice and guidance to other engineers and clients
- Conduct site visits to inspect equipment and evaluate performance
- Test and evaluate the performance of mechanical systems and components
- Create and update technical documentation and reports
This role could suit a vastly experienced Mechanical Field Engineer, or a Junior Engineer from a Mechanical / Piping background looking for their next challenge.
